I’ve been to a vintage event and have seen things there originally bought by those too posh to push a third pedal.

I like how the Granada and MB badges are so similar, very amusing as Ford USA would compare the USDM Granada to MBs.
230.4 badge was never used on this side of the pond.
Now you need to find a Peugeot 604 “Automatique”, that badge was used over here as well.

Sadly, the chances of finding a 604 of any description here are approximately nil. The 504 used the same badge but they haven’t been preserved either.
I did see these last year (they would have shared a BW 35):
Merc used to offer the choice of 230.4 and 230.6 at one time.

I like that green on the Merc, there are maybe three Merc colors I wish I had on my w123..

I’ve never seen one, cool.

A 604 is rare here too, but in this gentle inspection-free climate, I suspect a few are still around. The French language badge was definitely a ploy to appear exotic, and it worked, to my eyes anyway, when I was around 10.
US cars sometimes had an automatic (or the maker’s name for it) badge in the early 50s, but not after, it became normal here very quick.
We had neither of the decimal MB badges.
